Last winter during a big storm, I had the top of a large redwood tree fall thru our bedroom roof and another branch go thru our porch roof. I had a roofing contractor recommend that I contact Jeff at Technique Construction because I had interior damage that they didn’t do. Jeff worked with my insurance company and rebuilt the interior which included installing a main beam across the width of the house. It also included replacing two bedroom and two closet ceilings. The bedrooms and closets were completely redone to our satisfaction. With Jeff’s working with the insurance company we ended up with a very well done job and a complete new roof. Jeff and his crew were very professional and always cleaned up as they worked. I can recommend Technique Construction as a really good contractor to work with.

For a number of years Technique Construction has provided our family with additions and major remodels to three of our Mercer Island homes. These construction projects have been both complex and challenging requiring their design and construction talents to be fully tested.
They added a large master bath and walk-in closet extension on the first home, a major $200,000 remodel on our second home, and upgraded all our windows on the third. We have also had the opportunity over the years to tour many of the homes they have built from the ground up. Technique was always available to discuss options and make recommendations on design and hardware selection issues both before and during construction. They were always available after the project was complete to answer any questions we might have had.
